Mancala
Sow seeds, go again, capture: a classic counting game you can learn in a minute.
About Mancala
Mancala is a family of ancient seed-sowing games. Turnpan plays Kalah, its most popular version, on a board with six pits a side and four seeds in each. Play it free online against a computer opponent at six levels, with or without a clock.
How to play
- Pick up all the seeds from one of your pits and drop them one by one, counter-clockwise, passing through your own store.
- End in your own store to go again, or in an empty pit of yours to capture the seeds across from it.
- When one side runs out of seeds, the game ends and the player with more seeds in their store wins.
